That's why here comes a "real" introductory puzzle that, based on tester feedback, is somewhere around 2-3/5 difficulty.
Rules:
Sudoku: Fill every row, column and marked 3x3 box with the digits 1-9.
EnTRIOpy: Each row, column and marked 3x3 box contains exactly three Normals (value = digit), three Doublers (value = digit * 2) and three Triplers (value = digit * 3). Each 2x2 box in the grid has to contain a Normal, a Doubler and a Tripler.
Killer: In cages marked with a black dashed line digits must not repeat and the values have to add up to the total given in the top-left corner of a cage.
Thermometer: Values along a thermometer have to strictly increase from the bulb to the tip.

After solving this one I was really able to look at the harder puzzle's logic with a better perspective. Amazing puzzle, thanks for setting!

At least 3 stars for me… After the easy break-in my brain stumbled into problems. Looking back I cannot understand why… It’s an amazing puzzle with an interesting ruleset and perfect setting. Thank you very much for creating and sharing this gem.

Easier than the first EnTRIOpy but still quite a challenge. Give it a go, it's amazing!
