Normal sudoku rules apply.
Difference Cages: Digits in cages may not repeat. Clues in the top left corner of a cage indicate the difference of sums between the odd and even digits in the cage.
For example, the cage [1,2,3,4] would have a corner clue of 2, since (2+4) - (1+3) = 6 - 4 = 2. In cage differences, the smaller sum is always subtracted from the larger.

Nice puzzle! It took me significantly less time than an average 4 stars, I think it should be rated 3 stars.
-- Thanks for your comment :) I am glad it felt smooth for you! Perhaps you're right. :) One day I'll gauge difficulty right hehe

Was'n sure if I could do a 4 star puzzle, because I am new to variant sudokus, but the ruleset sounded very interesting (have been doing killer sudokus daily for the last 12 years). And I am glad that I gave it a try. Just loved it!
-- Congrats Killer! I also love killer sudoku and have been enjoying little twists to them. I'm happy to hear this one still felt smooth to you. Cheers! -Grok
It took me a while, but it still was a smooth solve. Thank you!
