Extra Regions in the Fog

Rules:
Place a digit 1-9 into each cell of the grid. None of the rows, columns or boldly outlined 3x3 boxes contain repeated digits.
2) The grid is partially covered with fog. Correctly placed digits will clear the fog around that cell. No guessing is required.
3) An extra region is a 9-cell group of orthogonally connected cells linked with grey lines. An extra region must contain all of the digits 1-9. Extra regions do not overlap with each other. All pairs of orthogonally adjacent cells that belong to the same extra region have a line segment between them.

Really struggled with this one for some reason. I spent about half an hour staring at the screen completely stuck before typing in one of two options to see if I would gain any information, and then spent about 5/10 minutes working out why that would be the case. Once I'd cracked that, it was a very smooth solve right until the end, where I had made a little error. Took me about 80 minutes in total, but very fun once I knew what to look for!

Cool idea, very elegant setting, nice flow and interaction between the fog and the extra regions. very nice !

This is a very nice puzzle, Can. I can't understad the rating (death to the trolls). But it is not a 3* difficulty puzzle. 2* at most.
Very well done anyway.
