Solve with SudokuPad
• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• The grid is partially covered with fog. Correctly placed digits will clear the fog around that cell. No guessing is required.
• Cells separated by a knight's move in chess cannot contain the same digit.
• Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the clue in the top left.
• Digits along each thermometer must increase starting from the bulb end.

I rated this 3/5 difficulty.
Very nice puzzle and an enjoyable difficulty for a FoW puzzle. The setting was excellent and the puzzle had a very clever break-in
I often find myself rating puzzle difficulty lower than others on this forum, but I for whatever reason felt that this was more difficult than expected. I made good progress on the break-in within the first 20 minutes, but after coloring maybe 50% of the lower digits, I got stuck for maybe 25 minutes completely unable to spot the required logic. I finally spotted the logic in box 4, and was able to place a digit and the whole puzzle started coming together rapidly, as I spent quite a while coloring the rest of the grid while scanning for the part I was stuck on.
I think the break-in difficulty was around 3/5 until I placed a few digits, and afterwards it felt like 2-3/5 difficulty. Since I got so stuck on one part, I felt that I had to rate it 3/5 difficulty. Additionally, a 1 hour solve time is actually fairly slow for most 3/5 difficulty puzzles, and VERY long compared to my average 2/5 difficulty puzzles (which is like 25-45 minutes in this type of variant).
Although it was tough for a while, I thought the logic for the whole puzzle was very cool - and the payoff of disambiguating the large digits was great. It was clever how the large-digit disambiguation relied on the thermos AND knight move restrictions simultaneously. Even after filling nearly all of the small digits, the puzzle still had a few more tricks up its sleeve, and several neat pieces of logic right up until the end of the solve.
Great puzzle!

Lovely puzzle. I found this to be one of the harder ones in the series so far. Coloring helped, but it took me a long time from placing the first digit before I placed the second. After that it wrapped up fairly quickly.

Much easier to solve when you remember 4+1 =/= 6. Thanks for the fun puzzle!

A Meggen033 fog of war puzzle with negative constraints is about the only kind that’ll keep me up for 70 minutes when I should be sleeping instead,
Terrific puzzle, nothing too challenging but definitely entertaining.
