After removing my previous puzzle, published on October 9, 2024, a week or so after its release due to an approval rating below my standards, I took a break from setting. This puzzle marks both my return and my first attempt at creating a loop-drawing puzzle.
Enjoy!
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Digits in cages cannot repeat and must sum to the clue in the corner.
- Digits separated by an X sum to 10, and digits separated by the V sum to 5.
- Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive, and digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (one digit is double the other).
- Not all Xs, Vs, and dots are necessarily given.
- Draw a one-cell-wide loop of orthogonally connected cells that must pass through every cell in every cage without visiting any cage more than once. The loop cannot touch itself orthogonally but may touch itself diagonally.
- The two circles in the grid indicate corners of the loop.
- The loop acts as a German whisper line, meaning adjacent digits along it must differ by at least 5.

I usually have troubles with Snake/Loop style puzzles, but I really like Whispers.
I found this quite approachable and fun! Managed to do it in 12 minutes, so feeling pretty good!

I really enjoyed this one. Normally these path finding puzzles are beyond me, but I got the logic quite quickly. A very pleasant 35 minutes spent. Thank you.
