RULE SET:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each row, column, and box.
RENBAN (PURPLE): Digits along a purple Renban line must be a set of consecutive non-repeating digits, and may appear in any order.
GERMAN WHISPER (GREEN): Adjacent digits along a green German whisper line must differ by at least 5.
REGION SUM (BLUE), digits on the blue Region sum line have an equal sum N within each box it passes through.
KILLER CAGES: The sum of the cells in a cage must equal the total given for that cage. Digits in a cage do not repeat.

Finished in just under 18 minutes. Definitely nowhere near a 1*, there were some complex deductions to be made throughout (and I usually finish a 1* in under 10 minutes). Still a lovely puzzle, just poorly rated in terms of difficulty level.

Trickier for my current level (I broke it twice) but that was a blast. Tons of aha moments.

4 comments on here so far - 2 saying very quick, 2 saying over an hour. Definatley doesn't feel like a one star to me. I've been going for 45 minutes and havent got a digit haha. Would love for LogicMasters to display average solve time instead of user selected star ratings.

Less than 18 minutes to solve.... maybe some solvers should ask themselves about their scanning level...

I don't know if i should be submitting the solution code. it took me 75 minutes. Lots of checking, lots of errors, and lots of entering cells to see if one of two solutions was correct. And this is only a 1* puzzle! :(

Fun quick one! Really enjoy these types of puzzles. Thanks for sharing. Very similar to a James Sinclair-type puzzle. Cheers!

I sailed through this in a mere 77 minutes. HAHA. Thank you for the puzzle. Whilst it took ages, I never felt completely stuck.
