Hi there, thanks for checking out my latest puzzle!
This was my entry for: Scojos weekly prompt. Use lines that exit the grid to provide an outside clues.
Thanks so much to Crusader, Chameleon, and Nebuzaradan, for testing and helping me make this work!Constraints used
- Normal sudoku rules
- German Whispers
- Hitpoints
Normal Sudoku Rules apply. (Place the digits 1-9 once each into every row, column and mini grid)
Green lines are German Whispers, consecutive values along them must differ in value by at least 5.
Values on the whisper outside the main grid provide a hit points clue for their respective row or column. A valid hit points clue sums the digits in it's row or column that are in their corresponding numbered cell. All Hitpoint clues are a minimum of 1.
For example a 3 in r4c3 would contribute to the clue in r4c0 and any other digit would not. If r5 had a Hitpoint value of 8 124357698 would be valid as 1 is in the first position, 2 in the second and 5 in the 5th and 1+2+5=8 no other digits are in their 'correct' position.
For solution check to trigger please only enter small digits outside the grid.

What a fantastic puzzle! There were a couple especially tricky spots where I wondered how to make progress, but those led to the most satisfying moments when I found my way through

I was stuck for a looong time, because the rules in sudokupad don't say that hitpoint clues may not be zero :/ Otherwise a great puzzle.
I'm so sorry! It appears in one of my edits I accidentally changed the puzzle to a previous version! Not sure how that happened (or if it was wrong from the outset!) thank you for persevering and letting me know! Link now changed to latest version!

The specification for German Whisper in this puzzle must use "number" instead of "digit", because they're obviously not all single digit. Also, you forgot to say "All hitpoint clues on GW lines must be at least 1" (note the "on GW line" part, which is missing in SudokuPad, which then could be interpreted as saying all 36 possible outside clues must be valid hitpoint clues of at least 1).
