Synergies

So... originally for the beginning of this month, this was supposed to be my next pencil puzzle project that I've been working on currently but I only noticed a major flaw in the middle that completely slipped the through my mind during a testing few days ago, which forced me to scrap a lot of the things and restart again.

Yeah, good setters do make mistakes sometimes, who would've thought...

To compensate for this unfortunate moment, I would aim to take some small breaks and hope to find better alternatives for that retry at some point. For now, I'll pick another cool sudoku puzzle as a substitution for the beginning of this month.

The puzzle below followed right after my previous Boundaries of mine and this one has a lot of similarities with that puzzles in terms of the interactions between the 'relatively familiar' constraints. I placed this puzzle as a solid 4/5 in terms of estimated difficulty over here, but I hope you enjoy the solve overall!

Rules:

- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.

-Within a cage, digits sum to the small number written at the top left of that cage.
In this puzzle, X is the same total for those two particular cages and needs to be deduced.

- Digit[s] along an arrow sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow.

- Along a light orange line, each set of three sequential cells must contain one digit from set {1,2,3}, one digit from set {4,5,6} and one digit from set {7,8,9}.

- Along a green line, two adjacent digits have the difference of at least 5.

Good luck and have fun solving!

Wow! A very nice puzzle...subtle interactions...more like 4-Plus for me.

Thanks!

This is such a well-set puzzle. The interactions are very intricate and the break-in to get the parity of R5C5 is so cool. It gives way soon thereafter. Thanks for sharing this.
