(Published on 23. November 2024, 13:00 by graggle)

9 to 5

- Normal sudoku rules apply.

- Anti-Knight: Cells separated by a knight's move in chess cannot contain the same digit.

- Killer cages: Digits in a cage do not repeat and sum to the clue in the top left (if given).

- Kropki dots: Digits separated by a black dot have a ratio of 1:x, where x is the number inside the dot. Digits separated by a white dot have a difference of exactly n, where n is the digit inside the dot.

Solve it on CTC .

(this is my first puzzle, hope you enjoy!)

Solution code: Row 1 followed by row 9, both read left to right. Answer should be 18 characters, no spaces.

I'm an idiot! Can't believe I left the anti-knight out of the rules, will change that now! Thanks for spotting.

Anti-Knight-Regel ist zusätzlich erforderlich

Agree with Titus. Otherwise a nice first puzzle. A shorter solution code is becoming the norm, though.

I was struggling a bit with this one until, when checking my progress, there appeared to be a knights move restriction. Once I assumed there was though, it all flowed rather nicely. The rules need to change to reflect that. Very enjoyable puzzle.
