Confoederatio Helvetica

German, French, Italian and Romansh are the official national languages of Switzerland, the first three being the official languages of the Confederation. In order not to favour any one language, the country code is CH, the abbreviation of the Latin name Confoederatio Helvetica.
Rules:
- Standard sudoku rules apply: The digits 1 through 9 appear in every row, column, and box.
- Swiss Whispers: Shown as red lines, adjacent digits along a Swiss Whispers line must differ by at least three.
- Kropki pairs: Digits in cells separated by a black dot are in a 2:1 ratio. Not all dots are necessarily given.
- Cages: Digits in cages cannot repeat and must sum to the value shown in the upper left corner of the cage.

that was some nice puzzle, quick, fun and making perfect use of the square flag ;-)
Aaaanyways, I agree with red being a bit harsh on the eyes;
BUT I totally agree, that no other color would suffice for this puzzle

The bright red is a bit of a strong color here, made some pencil marking a little more difficulty. Other than that, great setting for a very approachable puzzle.

Sometimes I got a bit overwhelmed with needless extra clues. Although I agree it is a begginer puzzle, extra information only helps to turn me lazy.

Thank you for this very nice puzzle, Gerhard1963! The strong red colour was a bit difficult for my eyes, but of course I understand why you chose this layout. Thus it is not meant as critics, but I am just mentioning it so you are aware.
