Due to several reasons and circumstances, SVS has been on hold for too long, but now I am back with fresh new ideas and sudokus. Since hundreds of sudokus are published every month, finding new single-rule-variants is a bit like searching for a needle in a haystack. So I would like to ask players if they know about single-rule-variants that didn't appear in SVS earlier. If you know about such a variant, you can write it down in the comments below this puzzle, or reply to the thread in the forum I created a few weeks ago. You can find it here. You can also write me a PM in the forum.
Odd-Even Box Multiplication
Inspiration for this type comes from RockyRoer.
Penpa+ or in Sudokupad (thx Mozart40!)
Apply classic sudoku rules.
In each 3x3 block, the one-, two-, or three-digit number in the grey outlined cell(s) is the product of the digits in the cells with the grey circles and squares in that 3x3 block where cells with circles contain odd digits and cells with squares contain even digits.
Solution code: Row 3, followed by row 6.

Willkommen zurück, Richard :-).

Thanks for the kind welcome-back-words!
I am happy that the actual circumstances allow me again to pick up this great hobby.
I hope players will find their way to my puzzles again after an absence of almost two years...
As for the CTC-app: the link to the converter that Mozart40 provided is sufficient for now. I'm able to make the puzzles in Penpa and I can convert them from there. Writing them in the sudokumaker app is the next step. Never too old to learn. ;-)

I'm so glad your back!
The CTC app is only for playing sudoku - you need to use some other tool to create it and then export to CTC. I think you should totally check out sirxemic's www.sudokumaker.app website. You'll find it quite intuitive to use and has the ability to export to sudokupad super easy. The cosmetic lines and symbols options would be really convenient for you who often uses new rulesets. It can handle sudoku's of any (reasonable) size and can also be used to create non-sudoku puzzles (if you decide to create a couple more City Constructions puzzles for example?) I'd be glad to show you any tricks if you want - or there's tons of support available on CTC's discord channel.

Added an extra link for online solving. Thx Mozart40!

I found it quite easy but it was a great experience.

Thanks for the solve, the comment and the link!
Is the CTC-app free available for anyone? And is there a tutorial on how to set puzzles in it? I like to learn to do this myself for all my future Sudokus. :-)
@Richard: I've no clue about Sodokupad programming. I've just simple used the converter https://marktekfan.github.io/sudokupad-penpa-import/ :P

Welcome back Richard, and it's great to see the return of arguably the most legendary series on this site x)
A fun and mathy puzzle that tickled my brain a bit there! I might put this at 2/5 diff, but maybe that's just me being slow at some points :)
