Non-Consecutive X-Sums

- Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.
- Non-Consecutive: Orthogonally adjacent cells cannot contain consecutive digits.
- X-Sums: A number outside the grid gives the sum of the first N digits in that row or column, where N is the digit in the cell closest to the given clue.

A nice ruleset at first, but once you notice the pattern, it gets quite boring. Would be nice if such a ruleset could exist without the repeating pattern. Thanks anyway for creating the puzzle!
