- Normal 8x8 sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column and 2x4 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 8 once each.
- Killer cages: Digits in a cage sum to the clue in the top left.
- Little killers: Digits on a marked diagonal sum to the clue outside the grid. (If there is no conflict with other rules, digits on such a diagonal may repeat.)
- Arrows: Digits on an arrow sum to the digit in the circle from which the arrow emerges.
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Column 5 from top to bottom (8 digits in total)

Just over an hour lol - kept trying to do math with 9s

Thank you for your comment, zimmicks! Not having 9s definitely makes a huge difference. :)
I hope you had an enjoyable solve.

I was expecting some wrognness from the title, but this was smooth and fun anyway. Nice straightforward opening, and a clear flow for the rest.

Thank you for commenting, MattYDdraig! When I chose the title, I already wondered if one could take it that way. But it rather refers to some "hidden givens" than to a true/wrong clues ruleset. I am glad you had a smooth solve.

Wow, not having a 9 kept throwing me off - or rather, having 4 boxes vertically did. Fun, though!
**
Thank you for your comment, dzamie! The 8x8 sudoku really throws off the classic 9x9 instincts. I am glad you had a fun solve anyhow.

Yes, I tried to fit a 9 somewhere :P
Great puzzle, a nice diversion from the usual 9x9's!

Thank you for your comment, Fra314! This not being 9x9 definitely has some consequences. :)
I am glad you liked the puzzle.

I kept getting almost to the end and then getting a contradiction and I was getting pretty salty about how it was graded as "easy." Then I discovered that I was actually bad at math and kept making the bottom left cage sum to 24 instead of 22. Oops :P Really enjoyed it after I figured out my mistake!
**
Thank you for your comment, Pseud0bread! Such things are always annoying. It has happened to me as well that I used wrong sums or confused clues, and probably we are not the only ones. :)
I am glad that you had an enjoyable solve after finding that issue.

Based on the title, I expected some of the clues to be wrogn! :) thanks for sharing as always!
**
Thank you for your comment, PinkNickels! I can see why you expected that. But no, this is just a genuine puzzle, I had something different in mind with the title. :)
