Alcatraz

(Published on 6. November 2024, 04:32 by Neokart)

Hello. This is my new puzzle. Alcatraz (Heron) is the first puzzle in a series inspired by the Nasca Lines, a group of geoglyphs in southern Peru. This series does not try to draw the shapes as close as possible to the geoglyphs, but to make reference to their most famous figures. I hope you like it.

Rules:

1. Normal sudoku rules apply. Each row, column and 3x3 box contains each digit from 1 to 9 exactly once.
2. Antiknight: Cells separated by a knight's move (as in chess) cannot contain the same digit.
3. Dutch Whispers: Along an orange line, adjacent digits differ by at least 4.
4. Kropki Pairs: Digits joined by a white dot must be consecutive. Digits joined by a black dot must be in a 1:2 ratio. Not all possible dots are necesarilly given.

I found this to be quite easy (which isn't a bad thing) unfortunately I forgot to unpause the timer after my pit stop and so I don't have a too good idea about the time it took (but an estimate of 20+odd minutes) Anyways, this flowed much easier and more smoothly than it looks
Thanks a lot.. a very beautiful puzzle
