Flight of the TARDIS

(Published on 6. November 2024, 00:59 by The Bard)

Flight of the TARDIS

Normal Sudoku rules apply, place the digits 1-9 in each row, column, and box.

The TARDIS needs to fly from the blue square to the other blue square and back through an orthogonally connected loop that does not touch itself even diagonally.

Digits on this path have negative values for all clues AND are only odd digits.

Killer Cages: digits in each cage add up to the total in the corner.

Thermometers: digits along a thermometer strictly increase OR decrease in value.

As #9 would say, fantastic! Glad to have stumbled across this in the time space continuum.

Glad you liked it. You may enjoy the first one as well which has a very similar logic to it, "Doctor Who"
I did get a bit carried away with the Dr Who references in that one, but it is still my favorite puzzle to have created.

Nice puzzle! Very unique and very fun to solve. Loved the theming in the puzzle description too. You may want to tweak the wording just slightly: “The TARDIS needs to fly between the blue squares through an orthogonally connected loop that does not touch itself diagonally.” Just to emphasize it is a closed loop and not a single open path ;) Either way, really enjoyed this one!
