Sort of miraculous

(Published on 5. November 2024, 02:06 by apete)

Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Cells a knight's move apart can not contain the same digit.
In odd numbered boxes, odd digits appear in ascending order (with respect to position within that box).
In even numbered boxes, even digits appear in ascending order (with respect to position within that box).
Digits separated by a black dot are in a 2:1 ratio.

Took a while to get started, but then it all made wonderful sense. Captivatingly good

fully agree.. that felt like it is some sort of witchcraft.
I found it to be quite difficult at times tbh,
the break in almost hit me without notice, like a pepper's ghost it suddenly was just there.
awesome puzzle and great fun, thank you.

@loigor4 amazing! Re-did. What a puzzle

@shortcp1 there is no such assumption, the puzzle is just as solvable without it

I think important to point out that [redacted] Was straightforward once I made that assumption

Tough grind, but glad I made it through. Took me nearly 49 minutes to complete.

on 5. November 2024, 16:11 by samuel1997
@ElenaMonteille, unless specified, both of the box number and the position within a box are always count from left to right, then top to bottom, i.e.,

1 2 3
4 5 6
7 8 9

Hope this helps.

Hi, I am really interested in this puzzle and would very much like to try it. But I'm unsure about the rules: how are the digits ordered within one box? For example in box 1, are A and B valid positionings for the odd digits? (I use "x" for any even digit)
--A--|--B--
1 3 5|1 5 9
7 9 x|3 x x
x x x|7 x x

Thank you very much for the puzzle and answering my question! Without doubt a very brilliant puzzle.
