50 (Pairdoku with Sujoyku)
To celebrate my 50th puzzle on LMD and the 150th puzzle by sujoyku we decided to set a pairdoku together. This puzzle has to be solved with a partner. Each solver only sees their own grid and must communicate with the partner about the possible conclusions in order to solve the puzzle together (both grids have the exact same solution, but contain different clues). In this puzzle, there are lines that are divided by box borders into segments such that the product of all segment sums equals exactly 50. For more detailed rules, see below. We would like to thank isamook and Fahmi Sack for testing.
One of the two partners should solve the puzzle linked below, the other partner should solve 150 (Pairdoku with blackjackfitz) by sujoyku. As always, your comments are much appreciated. Enjoy!
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column, and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1-9 once each.
Fog of War: The grid is partially covered with fog. Correctly placed digits will clear the fog around that cell. No guessing is required. (It might be necessary to rely on making progress in your partner's grid.)
50 Lines: Each line in the grid is split by box borders into segments such that the product of its segment sums equals exactly 50. Lines may not branch or intersect other lines, but possibly overlap lines in your partner's grid.
Example: A valid line could be 136-1-41 since (1+3+6) x 1 x (4+1) = 10 X 1 X 5 = 50.
Solution code: Row 1
