Pair of Docks

Hello, Kennet's Dad here. I recently changed this puzzle a bit so you wouldn't be tempted to slog through to find a solution. I'd rather you discover what I did along the way.
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- Orthogonally adjacent digits cannot be consecutive.
- Digits along a line form a set of non-repeating, consecutive digits in any order.
- The sum of the digits along a diagonal, indicated by an arrow, sum to X, where X must be determined and is the same sum for all arrows.
Solution code: row 4, left to right

Really enjoyed this, once you spot the way to start this you will also know where the solution will be forced but still took me quite some time.
