I am continuing to explore different rulesets with twin sudoku grids. I already made one with killer cages and doublers, and one with ambiguous renban/RSL lines. Now I am trying something with a modified line of sight chaos construction ruleset. I am not sure yet if I will try to make a 9x9 version of this. Making one that worked with 6x6 grids was already quite a challenge. Difficulty should be between 2 and 3. Let me know what you think and have fun !
Rules :
- Chaos construction suduko : divide each grid into regions, each consisting of 6 orthogonally connected cells, and fill each row, column and region with the digits 1 to 6 once each.
- Arrows : a digit in a clued cell indicates the number of cells seen in the indicated directions combined, including itself. For each clued cell, the digit is the same in both grids, but the count is exact in one of the grids, and off-by-one in the other grid.
- Note : as both grids are identical, no anwser check is provided, because the solved grids could be switched.
Solution code: Enter the digits from both regions containing R6C6, in reading order (left to right, top to bottom), starting with the region with the lowest first digit. (For example :123456623451)
