Where are my mates?

This puzzle has been set for a puzzle prompt celebrating the one year anniversary of the wonderful Dutch Flat Mates series by Flinty. I like to thank gdc and Flinty for testing and giving advice for the layout of the arrows. I hope the puzzle is approachable and wish you happy solving.

- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.

- Dutch Flat Mates: Each 5 in the grid either has a 1 directly above or a 9 directly below it. (It may have both, but it does not need both.)

- Outside Sum + Sandwich clues: Each clue outside the grid indicates the sum of all the digits in its row or column up to the first 1 or 9. (The bounding 1 or 9 is not part of that sum.) Moreover, each outside clue is a Sandwich clue, i.e. it indicates the sum of all digits between 1 and 9 in the respective row or column.

Example: A row with an outside clue of 5 could have a valid fill of 231594678 since the cells up to the 1 sum to 2+3=5 and the digits between 1 and 9 sum to 5.

- Arrows: A digit in a cell containing a small blue arrow indicates the distance to the next 1 or 9 in that direction.

Got stuck because I forgot about the Dutch Flat Mates rule...

**
Thank you for your comment, ElimGarak! I feel you. Before I started setting with the DFM constraint myself, that was a returning oversight I had in many puzzles. I hope you had a fun solve anyhow.
Kind regards, sujoyku
