• Normal Sudoku rules apply.
• Fog: The grid is mostly covered in fog. Placing correct digits will lift the fog around the placed digit revealing more clues.
• Psycho Look-and-Say Killer Cages: Digits in cages do not repeat, and sum to the given clue (which may be shown in any cage cell). The cage clue is also read as a look-and-say clue that counts the exact number of times a target digit is indexed from the cage. A caged digit's indexed cell is located in the box of the digit's number, in the same position within the box as the original cell containing the digit. A digit may index its own cell. Usual box numbering applies.
For example, if R5C5 were a 9, and R8C8 were a 4, the 9 would be one of 3 cells in the cage successfully indexing a 4.
Here's an example puzzle to demonstrate the rules:
Of course, all digits can be deduced logically! Hope you enjoy! 😄 - Any feedback or comments welcome!
Solution code: Row 1 (left to right) & Column 1 (top to bottom) (18 digits)

Took me a while to understand the indexing rule… Very nice break-in, but it was hard (for me) to make progress. This naughty box 1 seemed to laugh at me! Thank you for creating and sharing this wonderful and brutal puzzle.
