A new game, but with colors
(Published on 19. October 2024, 21:00 by xaviercastle)
I want to show you a game I’ve created. I’m not sure if it already exists, since it’s so simple and nice that someone might have thought of it before, maybe with slightly different rules.
The rules are easy
In each row, column, and box, each color must repeat exactly twice.
No two consecutive regions, either horizontally or vertically, can have the same color.
What do you think? If this hasn’t been created yet, do you have any ideas for a name for this invention? Thanks!
Solution code: The initials of the colors in the last row, uppercase and from left to right.

yeah interesting concept, terrible to scan;
the hardest part of the puzzle is already reading the board, not actually solving it.
I don't know if I'd play another one of those

I've got a few puzzles with a similar ruleset, but using numbers instead of colors. I called it Doubledoku:
Here's one I made: https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=000J12
Here's a grid to work on for those who are interested - no answer check for colors.
