Wessel Strijkstra (6x6 cipher killer sudoku)
(Published on 17. October 2024, 18:53 by Aspartagcus)
Hello!
Here is a puzzle which I set for my friend Wessel.
It's quite tricky for a 6x6, but there's nice logic in it. Hope you like arithmetics! :)
RULES:
Sudoku: Fill each row, column and region with the digits 1-6.
Cipher: Each letter corresponds to a unique digit. Cells with one letter in them contains that digit.
Modified killer cages: Digits in cages sum up to the double digit number represented by two letters inside of that cage. Digits may repeat in cages.
Even: The digit in the grey square is even.
And this is the puzzle:
Enjoy!

Penpa+ (with table to keep track of cipher, fill table for answer check to trigger)
Solution code: Row 1 from left to right.

Very nice tribute to a friend. Thanks (max 3* imo - limited possibilities for the values of the letters in a 6x6)
