My second region sum screws puzzle. This was supposed to be the introduction to region sum screws on my puzzle catalogue, but it turned out a bit too difficult for that.
Rules:
- Irregular Regions: Every row, column, and region indicated by thicker borders within the grid must contain a complete set of the digits 1-8.
- Region Sum Screws: Box borders divide the blue lines into segments. Segments without a screw between them have the same sum. Segments with a black screw between them have sums in a 2:1 ratio. Segments with a white screw between them have sums with the same difference N, where N must be determined by the solver.

Thanks for this puzzle, it was my first time encoutering region sum screws.
I didn't find the explanation of the white screws understandable. It didn't mention the sum, so I wasn't sure at first.
I feel like something like this, would be more understandable:
"Segments with a white screw between them have sums that differs by a value of N where N is the same value for every white screws."
