This is a collaboration with dumediat. The exact date of his birthday, I thought of a Masyu variant that would emphasize some logic that I knew he enjoyed. As I didn't have a whole lot of time to craft a decent gift, dumediat that day only recieved what I'd like to call a prototype. We then joined forces and set this puzzle together. Enjoy!
Rules:
Draw a non-intersecting loop through the centers of some cells that passes through every circle. The loop must turn on black circles and travel straight through the cells on either side. The loop must go straight through white circles, and turn in at least one of the cells on either side.
All orthogonally connected groups of non-loop cells must be connected to the edge of the grid.
Dumediat has set several very interesting masyus himself, most of which can be found on LMI Puzzle Expo. Can be recommended!
Solution code: The amount of turns in every row, top to bottom.

Very nice! I loved the vast variety of logic necessary throughout this (relatively) small grid.
