Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.
Some lines have been given, draw some more lines of length 3 such that no line overlaps with another and each line is cloned by at least one other line of the same shape (the same digits repeat on a clone in the same order and without rotation).
Each line contains at least one digit equal to the distance to its clone (the distance is the minimum number of orthogonal steps necessary to get from a cell on a line to the corresponding cell on it's clone).
Solution code: Row 1, left to right

One of the hardest and most beautiful puzzles ever. A miraculous discovery.

Very clever. The distance restriction manages to seem almost impossible to use even as it unravels so much.

Brilliantly constructed, torturous and evil puzzle!

Brilliant puzzle - very hard, but definitely fair when you find the logic
