(Published on 7. October 2024, 19:44 by marty_sears)

Rules:

Normal sudoku rules apply. The number on a gold arrow indicates the sum of the first X digits seen in the direction of the arrow, where X is the first digit seen. None of the digits which form the sum may be consecutive. A number on an arrow outside the grid may contain one or two digits.

I was stuck for quite a while because I assumed only digits of a sum which are next to each other need to be non-consecutive. However that's clearly not what the rules state. The non-consecutiveness applies to all digits of a sum. Realizing that led to a quick solve. Great puzzle.

"None of the digits which form the sum may be consecutive" AKA. Digits contributing to the same arrow form a nabner line, with the first seen digit as its length. e.g. r8c1=4 implies that r8c1,2,3,4 are on the same nabner line.

Me costó un poco al comienzo, pero luego de entender la mecánica de los no consecutivos fué como ir descubriendo paso a paso

I was confused about how the arrows outside the grid could be useful, but it was delightful once it clicked! Great puzzle.

A pretty easy start. A neat rule innovation that I think has tons of potential for wild logic

Reading comprehension is hard, Was struggling untill I found out the sums had to be non-consecutive :P
Great puzzle after that briliant moment
