Three Worlds's Spinoff: Descendants of the Horsemen
(Published on 7. October 2024, 06:00 by Playmaker6174)
While having some rehab for my legs at the moment, here's an Archers puzzle from my collection over half a year ago that has a cute idea with antiknight constraint. This one is rather a relatively breezy one after some tough projects I'd produced recently, but who even cares about that anyway?
Hope you enjoy the treat!
Rules:
- Normal Sudoku rules apply: every row, column and 3x3 box contains digits from 1 to 9 each once.
- Two cells that are a knight's move away in chess must not contain the same digit.
- Digits along an arrow sum to the digit in the circle cell attached to that arrow.
Small setter note:
The arrow from R4C1 wasn't actually needed for a unique solution, but I only added it in for a somewhat smoother transition.
Puzzle: F-puzzle -
Penpa plus -
Sudokupad
Good luck and have fun solving!
Solution code: Enter the digits in row 1 from left to right, 9 digits long

Absolutely fantastic setting! I was able to solve this rather quickly considering the 3* difficulty, but I attribute that to your amazing setting of this puzzle. At first glance, it looks very difficult, but the solution path is as clean as I've seen in quite some time. You should be very proud of such a fine piece of setting!
