Wichtels (später) Rätselsommer 2024 (10): Yingu Jam

(Published on 3. October 2024, 20:23 by wichtel)

To Christmas 2023 some eager puzzlefriends have again arranged a group in which everybody had to make anonymously a puzzle for someone else. These puzzles are now presented one after the other here in the portal.

"Remind me: what were the preferences of the next client?" A-gnome asked B-gnome. "If possible, a puzzle in which no numbers need to be entered," answered the B-gnome. "So for example, a Sudoku with Letters?" — "Nah, probably he meant something like a region division, path, or shading puzzle." — "Ah, say no more, I have understood. After all, here the customer is always right. I will begin forthwith."
A few hours later...
"A-gnome, what the heck is that?" asked B-gnome, as he stared at the grid. "Well, it's a region division, path, and shading puzzle. First you divide the grid into squares, like in a Square Jam puzzle, always avoiding that four squares meet at a corner. Each square is either a unique Masyu or a unique Yin-Yang puzzle." "... That is NOT what I meant. Must every mini-puzzle be unique?" — "Yes, otherwise there would be far too many possibilities. I mean, you couldn't make a unique Yin Yang puzzle from a single empty square. A Masyu loop luckily wouldn't fit... in any case, 1x1 empty mini-puzzles are not allowed." "Well, let's hope that our client likes this one."

Solution code: Rows 2, 10, 19. In yin yangs: B for black, W for white. In Masyus: X for empty, V for corners, I for straight lines.

Unglaublich, dieses Rätsel ist echt der Hammer!!! Unvorstellbar, wie man so etwas erstellen kann! Was uns doch diese sonderbaren Leute, die keine Zahlen eintragen möchten, so alles einbrocken ... ;-)

Wahnsinn!
