This is a "build your own gattai" set by me and isamook, with constraints inspired from several other great setters.
Rules:
- BYO Gattai: The five separate 9x9 grids must be placed within the larger connected grid in some order (to be deduced by the solver). For each 9x9 grid, normal sudoku rules apply.
- (T grid) Ten lines: gray lines consist of one or more contiguous groups of cells summing to 10. These groups of cells do not overlap. Digits and values may repeat within sums.
- (R grid) Remote Sums: A value X in a cage points to a second value Y located X cells away vertically or horizontally. The number in the top left corner of the cage indicates the sum of X+Y. Remote sums must point to values within its own grid.
- (C grid) Copycat + Region sum line: Mark nine copycat cells in the grid such that every row, column, and 3x3 box contains exactly one copycat cell. Each copycat cell must contain a different digit. The value of a copycat cell is the digit in the cell rotationally opposite itself in the grid (180° rotation about the center of the grid). For example, if r1c3 is a copycat cell containing the digit 8 and r9c7 contains the digit 4, then r1c3 has a value of 4. Copycat cells may not get their value from a digit outside the copycat grid. Values along a blue line must sum to the same number within each 3x3 box the line passes through.
- (Z grid) Zipper lines: Values an equal distance from the center of a lavender line sum to the value in the center of the line (marked with a small circle).
- (K grid) Cyphered Killer: Values within a cage must not repeat and sum to the number in the top-left corner of the cage. The letters BYOGATI replace numbers from 0-9 and no two letters may replace the same number. A question mark can be any number from 0-9 and for all double digit clues, none may have a leading zero.
For your convenience, the 1x5 grid can be used to notate where each 9x9 grid belongs in the gattai. The 2x4 grid can be used to notate the values of each letter in the cyphered killer grid.
