Power Creep

Rules:

Normal Sudoku Rules apply. 4 cells in the grid have modified values. A modified cell’s value is either squared, cubed, square-rooted, or cube-rooted. Each modification must occur exactly once, and the 4 modified cells must be 4 different digits (that is, if a ‘2’ has been modified, another ‘2’ cannot be modified). Additionally, no two modified cells can share a row, column, or box. A modified cell's value must be whole.

Clues outside the grid indicate the digit (not value) which has to be placed in the ‘Nth’ cell in the corresponding direction, where ‘N’ is the value of the first cell in that direction.

Values of digits in cages must sum to the number in the top-left corner. Digits cannot repeat within a cage.

Values of digits along arrows sum to the value in its circle. Arrows may not cross themselves or each other.

The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing correct digits clears the fog in the surrounding area.

Works, but a bit too much of a struggle for my liking.
