Normal sudoku rules apply.

Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected, all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected, and no 2x2 area is fully shaded or unshaded.

In this puzzle, unshaded cells conform to the rules of the clue(s) they interact with. However, shaded cells must break the rules!

In the final solution, any shaded cell (or combination of cells), when combined with the unshaded cells on a clue, must break that clue if they were made unshaded.

The clue rules are as follows:

• German Whispers: Adjacent unshaded cells (i.e. ignoring any shaded cells that separate them) on a green line must have a difference of at least 5
• Region Sums: Box borders divide a blue line into regions where the unshaded cells (if any) sum to the same value
• Renban: Unshaded cells on a purple line form a non-repeating set of consecutive digits
• Thermo: Unshaded cells on a thermometer strictly increase from the bulb end
• Killer Cages: Digits in a cage must not repeat, and the unshaded cells in a cage (if any) sum to the number in the top-left corner. A cage may be fully shaded (essentially ignoring the cage sum), as long as no combination of digits within the cage could sum to the total
• White Kropki Dot: A pair of unshaded cells separated by a white dot must be consecutive
• Odd/Even: Unshaded cells containing a grey square must be even
• Sandwich Sums: Values outside of the grid are the sum of the unshaded cells between the 1 and 9 in that row/column
• Bi-Directional X-Sums: Values outside of the grid are also the sum of any unshaded cells within the first 'X' digits seen from that direction, where 'X' is the value of the first cell. They are ALSO the sum of any unshaded cells within the first 'Y' digits seen from the opposite direction, where 'Y' is the value of the first cell seen from the opposite side. Note that for this clue, the shading of the 'X' and 'Y' only affects its value towards the sum, not the number of cells counted

For clarification, a German Whispers, Renban or Thermometer clue with only 1 unshaded cell is considered valid (providing it conforms to the shading constraint).
