Sweep the 1-9 Lines Out (Between-Line Sweeper thing)
(Published on 23. September 2024, 18:15 by LittleNightmaresLady)
Should not be as brutal as my previous puzzle. I'm putting two versions in this, one with the simplified version of the break-in and the other with the original break-in. Feel free to try either one. Also, once you solved it, you'll probably see why I named the puzzle that.
Rules:
-Normal sudoku rules apply.
-Digits along a between-line must have a value strictly between the attached circles.
-In addition, a digit in a red circle indicates the number of (up to 8) surrounding cells containing digits that are strictly between that digit and the digit in the other end of the between-line. For example, if r2c4 is a 3, and r4c6 is a 7, it means there are exactly 3 digits around r2c4 that are strictly between 3 and 7.
-Digits separated by a white dot must be consecutive. Not all dots are necessarily given.
-An inequality sign points towards the smaller digit.
