Läufer Loop
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply. Draw a loop which travels through the center of cells by only moving diagonally. The loop must visit each box. Any cells that are not adjacent on the loop may not touch each other diagonally. A digit in a square is never on the loop and counts how many cells the loop visits in the box that the square is in. All such squares which are not on the loop are given. Adjacent digits along the loop must differ by at least 5.
Clarification: The second picture shows a loop that is not allowed, because the two highlighted cells are touching diagonally without being adjacent neighbors along the loop (so the loop is considered to be touching itself diagonally).
Solution code: Column 8 followed by column 9.

Very interesting take on a loop puzzle, I may have to blatantly steal this idea for future use ;)
This updated version smooths out a lot of the logic while still maintaining all of the fundamental deductions of the original, and was very fun to solve!
