Circular Firing Squad (Arrows/Copycat)
(Published on 23. September 2024, 00:27 by damo_89)
My first puzzle set using the copycat cells modifier, popularised by Scojo. Consensus testing opinion was 2 stars difficulty, and if you are familiar with modifier cells and/or copycat I think this is right. If unfamiliar it may be more like 3 stars. Good luck!
- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column and 3x3 box
- Arrows: Values on an arrow sum to the value in the attached circle
- Copycat Cells: 9 cells in the grid are copycat cells, one each in every row, column and 3x3 box, containing the digits 1 to 9 once each. The value of a copycat cell is taken from the digit in the 180 degree rotationally opposite position. For example, if R2C4 were a copycat cell, the value of that cell would be the digit in R8C6.
