Chaos Construction rules apply: Divide the grid into 9 orthogonally connected regions with 9 cells each. Place the digits 1-9 exactly once into every row, column, and region. It is up to the solver to determine where these regions are.
Arrows: There are circles in the grid with attached arrows. The digit in the circle is equal to the sum of the digits on the attached arrow. Digits are allowed to repeat along the arrows as normally allowed by other rules.
CC: Arrow circles are always in a different region to that arrow's line, and each line is fully within a single region.
Kropki Dots:
- Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive, and cannot span a region border. Not all white dots are necessarily given.
- Digits separated by a black dot have a 1:2 ratio, meaning one is exactly double the other. Digits may span a region border. All possible black dots are given.
Outside clues:
A digit outside the grid represents
EITHER: The number of region borders in that row/column (outer grid borders do not count),
OR: the longest continuous number of cells for a single region in that row/column.
Each clue represents a unique rule type for that row/column (e.g. row 2 has 3 region borders and the longest region in the row is 3 cells)
Solution code: Row 8, using the letter X for a region border. No spaces or punctuation. Do not include outer grid borders. e.g. If there were one region border in the row, between columns 4, and 5, it could be: 1234X56789
