Lil Killer X

This puzzle was made for
Scojo's "Little Killer" prompt. I couldn't make anything that I found interesting with normal little killers so I crossed little killers with X-sums and found something neat to build a puzzle around. Please leave a comment if you enjoy it!
RULES:
Normal Sudoku Rules Apply
Lil Killer X: Arrows outside the grid indicate the start of a laser that travels through the corners of cells and might bounce at a 90 degree angle off of the grid borders. The value by the arrow indicates the total sum of the digits visited by the laser. The laser travels along X diagonals, where X is the first digit seen by the laser (that is, it bounces X-1 times). For example, if r9c6=2, then 76 is the sum of all the digits between r9c6 and r6c9 plus the sum of all the digits between r5c9 and r1c5.
Solution code: The digits seen by the laser pointing directly at r1c4 (unknown number of digits, summing to 35), in the order the laser reaches them

Lovely freaky laser logic, the final breakthrough in my solution was quite unexpected. Bravo!
