(Published on 18. September 2024, 11:30 by damo_89)
I am delighted to be guest setter on the weekly Dutch Flat Mates series by Flinty. This combines Dutch Flat Mates with Kropki dots and doots.
- Normal Sudoku rules apply.: Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column and 3x3 box
- Dutch Flats: Every 5 in the grid must have a 1 directly above it or a 9 directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
- Kropki Dots: Digits on a white dot are consecutive. Digits on a black dot are in a 1 to 2 ratio.
- Kroopki Doots: Doots are straight lines between sets of cells. A white doot separates two sets of cells whose respective sums are consecutive. A black doot separates two sets of cells whose respective sums are in a 1:2 ratio. For example, R1C1 + R1C2 is double or half R2C1 + R2C2 because of the black doot between them.
- Not all dots or doots are necessarily given
