Split Regions

Rules: Normal Sudoku and Normal Variant rules apply.
Normal: Place the digits 1 to 7 once each in every row, column, and region*.
Arrows – Digits on an arrow sum to the digit in the bulb of the arrow.
Negative Diagonal – Digits on the negative diagonal line cannot repeat.
*Region Variant – There are 7 regions. 6 of the 7 regions have been split. A region that has been split cannot touch itself.

Excellent puzzle! The logic is very satisfying from start to finish. I wonder if it is possible to extend this variant to 9x9?
