- Samurai Sudoku rules apply: normal sudoku rules apply in each of the five grids. Shared boxes conform to both grids' sudoku.
- Cells one chess knight move apart may not contain the same digit. (For example, r11c15 and r13c16 may not have the same digit.)
- Orthogonally adjacent cells may not contain consecutive digits.
- Digits on an arrow sum to the total in their pill, read from left to right.
