4 more than 90

(Published on 11. September 2024, 12:28 by Muhammad)

This is my first hard puzzle and it is inspired by Neokart's puzzle "Nine in the Afternoon"
  • Rules:

    1. Normal Sudoku Rules: Each row, column, and 3x3 box must contain the digits from 1 to 9 exactly once.
    2. Killer Cages: Digits within a cage must sum to the number in the top-left corner of the cage.
    3. Arrows: Digits along an arrow must sum to the number in the connected circle or pill. Numbers in pills are read left to right or top to bottom. Digits can repeat along the arrow if allowed by other rules.
    4. Palindrome: Digits on a thick grey line must form a palindrome, meaning they read the same forwards and backwards.
    5. Region Sum Lines: 3x3 box borders divide each blue line into segments that have the same sum.
    6. Black Dots: Digits joined by a black dot must have a 1:2 ratio.
    7. White Dots: Digits joined by a white dot must be consecutive.

One of my favorite puzzles ever! Everything flows so nicely after the break-in, which is tough yet findable (especially after having solved "Nine in the Afternoon").
