I like to thank Scojo and Hatgirl for organizing this wonderful prompt. Already the “research phase” where I went through some of Black_Doom’s puzzles has been a blast. Among my favourite puzzles of his are Broken Windmill and Diplodocus. I highly recommend solving those if you haven’t done so already.
My strategy for the impostor puzzle was relatively simple: I noticed Black_Doom had combined the Nabner constraint with other line types and I also liked his region sum lines. So why not putting them together? The estimated difficulty for this one is 2.5-3 stars. All feedback in the comments is much welcome. I wish you joyful solving!
- Normal sudoku rules apply, i.e. each row, column and 3x3 region has to contain the digits from 1 to 9 once each.
- Region sum lines: Box borders divide the blue lines into segments with the same sum. (Different lines may have different sums.)
- Nabner lines: The golden lines are Nabner lines, i.e. on a golden line there may not be consecutive or repeated digits.
- Kropki: Digits joined by a white dot are consecutive. (Not all dots are given.)
Here you can solve the puzzle online:
Solution code: Row 5 from left to right (9 digits in total)

This one has a very lovely flow. Not too tricky, but with a lot of fun deductions to make. A bit more of 2,5* for me.
