Standard Sudoku rules apply.
SHADING: In the completed grid, cells containing numbers exactly one greater than an immediate neighbour (diagonal or orthogonal) within their box are shaded (and otherwise unshaded).
YIN YANG: The shaded cells form a single orthogonally connected region, as do the unshaded cells. No 2x2 region is wholly shaded or unshaded.
RED DAISIES: Values in cells with daisies give the number of shaded cells in the (up to 8) surrounding cells. All possible daisies are given.
BLUE WEEDS: Values in cells with weeds are strictly less than the number of shaded cells in the (up to 8) surrounding cells. NOT ALL possible weeds are given.

I had a few false starts but eventually got it to work. I love your shading rule; we should give it a name! (I'm always worried you'll reverse it on me sometime otherwise.) The Abdul Shading rule, anyone? :)

another great puzzle - thanks ATK. I liked the experimentation with the weeds - made me stretch my thinking in another direction.
