  • Normal Sudoku rules apply; place the digits 1-9 once in each row, column and box.
  • Odd/Even Cages: Digits within an orange cage sum to an odd total. Digits within a blue cage sum to an even total. If given, digits in a cage sum to the small number in the top left corner of the cage. Digits may repeat within a cage if allowed by other rules.
  • Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the number in the attached circle. Digits may repeat on arrows if allowed by other rules.
  • XV: Digits separated by a V sum to 5. Digits separated by an X sum to 10. Not all Vs and Xs are necessarily given.
  • Kropki: Digits separated by a white dot are consecutive. Not all white dots are necessarily given.

What a fun puzzle - fast paced and flowed VERY naturally with each new type of deduction being necessary. Very cool :)

Interesting--I noticed that something funky was going on with Phistomephel's ring but couldn't make sense of how to use that information. The break-in for me was to pencil mark column 5 with a quintuple/quadruple and to use the white kropki dot to find the overlap. Great puzzle!

Given the lack of cage totals, I thought I was settling in for a monster. A few minutes of pencil marking, and things started falling into place quite nicely! 21 minutes for me.

Very lovely. Not too hard if one spots the break-in quickly. Very smooth solution path. Excellent setting.
