• Normal Sudoku rules apply.

• Lines are both Renban and Sum Lines. Different color lines are for clarification.

• Sum Lines: The sum of the digits on a line is the same within each box the line is in.

• A black dot between cells indicates cell values with a 2:1 ratio. A white dot between cells indicates cells with consecutive values. Not all dots are given.

I rated this 2/5 difficulty.

Great puzzle! I believe this is the first of the 'series' I have seen/solved and it was a fun experience! This felt somewhere between 2-3/5 difficulty, but was definitely approachable and very well-set.

It took me a while (10-15 mins) to really finish the break in, but once I got a feel for the rules and figured out some 'tricks' for determining valid line digits (consecutive, RSL divisible, etc.), it was a very fun puzzle.

During the break-in I was thinking this puzzle felt like a 3/5 difficulty puzzle, but as I got familiar with the rules it began to feel more approachable and straightforward. I think my original perceived difficulty during the break-in was due to my unfamiliarity with this ruleset. Once I realized how to 'break apart' consecutive digits into sets with equal sums (literally the entire theme/idea of the constraints), it just 'clicked' and came together nicely. When reconsidering the early logic/steps now that I've completed the puzzle, they retrospectively seem very fair and straightforward.

If you are attempting to solve this puzzle and haven't seen combo renban+RSL lines, I really recommend just playing around with it for maybe 5-10 minutes before trying to 'brute force' anything (which is how I originally approached this, until I realized that I didn't understand the ruleset). It is worth spending that time to try to understand how factors/divisibility changes when you have different renban ranges. It seems obvious to say this, but I found it helpful to spend a few minutes just trying different examples. Try a few different line lengths/region sizes and see what sets of digits work for a given placement of a line.

Overall great puzzle, thanks for sharing!
