Normal sudoku rules apply: each row, column, and box must contain the digits 1 to 9 without repeats.
Shade some cells in the grid such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected. Each cage is either fully shaded or fully unshaded. Note that this means (unlike usual yin-yang puzzles) 2x2 boxes can be either fully shaded or fully unshaded.
For unshaded cages, the number in the corner is the sum of the digits in the cage. For shaded cages, the number is the product of the digits. Numbers cannot repeat in cages.
Solution code: Column 2

A brilliant puzzle! That 6 cage almost scared me until I managed to find what was quite a comedic discovery, lol!

Very fun! The first thing that caught my eye was the 6 cage and then I steadfastly refused to mark it as definitely shaded or unshaded until the very end just because I thought it was funny.:)

For some reason I'm fond of puzzles that use multiplication, and this was a good one. Thanks.
