Subway Roundabout

(Published on 21. August 2024, 22:25 by Niverio)

My third U-Bahn puzzle, and likely harder than my first two. Enjoy!

Rules:
U-Bahn: Draw a totally connected loop network through the centers of some cells, which may branch or turn, but may not have any dead ends.
A clue outside the grid indicates how many times the corresponding line shape (i.e. a cross, branch, straight line, or turn) appears in the corresponding row or column, irrespective of the line shape's rotation.
Roundabouts: Assign the numerical value of 0 to empty cells, 1 for turns, 2 for straights, 3 for branches and 4 for crosses. A number in a white circle indicates the sum of the values of the shapes in the surrounding 4 cells.

Links: You can solve this puzzle in either Penpa+ or in the CTC Software.

Solution code: For each row except the last, the number of lines leading down from that row.

I didn't expect the end to toughen like that but maybe I was tired by then. Nevertheless, great ruleset and implementation, thanks!
