A white dot at the centre of 4 cells indicates each pair of diagonally opposite cells has the same difference (eg 2-4 and 7-9). No 4 cell white dot uses the same difference as another.
White dots between a pair of cells indicate two cells with a difference of one.
Each diagonal has the digits 1-9 appearing once each.
