Dutch Sleeper Cells

(Published on 10. January 2025, 12:00 by Bearded Fool)

Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.

Kropki: Black dots separate cells with digits in a 2:1 ratio. White dots separate cells with consecutive digits.

Dutch Whisper: Adjacent cells on orange lines have differences of at least four.

Sleeper Cells: Every row, column, 3x3 box, and Dutch whisper line has exactly one sleeper cell. Sleeper cells, though appearing on the whisper lines, are skipped when it comes to whisper line logic. For example a line that reads 1259 is valid if the 2 is a sleeper cell, as the 1 and the 5 have a difference of at least four. Additionally, sleeper cells contain digits equal their 3x3 box number.
