This puzzle was set for a Setting Saturday prompt from Scojo, where we each had to set using our own unique style. After taking a film class and learning about auteurship, I decided it would make a good title for a puzzle!
This puzzle combines two of my favorite puzzles from the past year, one of which has gotten very little attention: Unique Sums and Tens Machine, as well as my favorite constraint genre: modifiers!
Making this without any given information besides cages was quite a challenge (over 30 failed iterations before I got this grid), but I ended up being very proud of my creation, and I hope you enjoy it as well!
Rules:
Sudoku: Normal sudoku rules apply.
Loose Tens: In every row, column, and 3x3 box, one cell has a value of ten. These cells form a complete set of the digits from 1 to 9.
Unique Cages: The sum of the values in each cage is unique.
You can play the puzzle by clicking on the image!
Happy solving! Please leave a comment if you enjoy this one, and check out some of my other puzzles (in particular, the two linked above)!
Solution code: The digits replaced with 10 in rows 1, 2, 3 and 4.

Wonderful use of the Loose Tens! One of my favorite puzzles in the mystery killer subgenre.
